The minutes of the December meeting sent via e-mail to all active members.
Treasurer’s Report: Bill Thiele reported $1,139.89 is on deposit.
Membership: The Club has 54 members, newest members Daniel and Phyllis Monarch as reported by Bill Thiele.

Rides Committee October 18th-group riding from Canada to Key West participate in the leg from Myrtle Beach to Georgetown.
SC Bicycle & Pedestrian ride October 25th 11:00am and 2:30pm ‘Hit the Beach” tour of the Grand Strand Area – Contact Richard for the specific on SC Bicycle & Pedestrian Accommodations Conference.
Training Committee: 2-person time trail scheduled for November at the Trinity Methodist Church in Conway.
Social Committee: Walter Lennon to organize a ride and visit to the Silver Coast Winery.
Advocacy Committee: Scott Royce advised that the next meeting of the Conway Bike Lane Committee would be held on October 14th.
Share the Road: SCDOT meeting October 24 to 26th concerning SC Bicycle & Pedestrian Accommodations Conference
Share the Road Signs can be found almost everywhere within the City Limits of Myrtle Beach
Adopt-A-Highway: Club renewed its commitment for 2004 and the next clean is scheduled for a date to be determined in November.
Unfinished Business: Tom Vitt presented a spectacular slide show of the 2004 Tour de France. The slide show was well received and we should consider joining Tom in 2006, as he will once again challenge the 21-hair pin turns of L'Alpe d'Huez. Wine and cheese was provided to further enhance the enjoyment of Tom’s slide show.

Discussed and presented the opportunity for Club members to participate in their group community vision program. The group program is open to club members and their immediate families with a 25% savings on all professional health eye health services and vision prescription needs.
Dr. Robert H. Smith of Lowcountry Vision Care offers an array of technically cool eyewear to include Rudy Project, Oakley and other named brands. The Club will complete the Enrollment Form and provide the current mailing list of the eligible club members to allow the Club to participate in the benefits that may be available.
